Rolling Stones Detail ‘Hackney Diamonds’ Guest Stars: Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Lady Gaga & More
When The Rolling Stones first announced their new studio album, Hackney Diamonds, it came with the promise of some very special guests — and that’s indeed the case with the record, scheduled for release on Oct. 20.
As officially detailed on Thursday, the new album (the Stones’ first of original material since 2005’s A Bigger Bang) features special appearances from none other than Sirs Paul McCartney and Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga and former Stones bassist, Bill Wyman.
Late Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts is also featured on two tracks that were recorded prior to his death in 2021.

The detailed track listing:
1. Angry
2. Get Close (ft. Elton John on piano)
3. Depending On You
4. Bite My Head Off (ft. Paul McCartney on bass)
5. Whole Wide World
6. Dreamy Skies
7. Mess It Up (ft. Charlie Watts on drums)
8. Live By the Sword (ft. Charlie Watts on drums, Bill Wyman on bass, Elton John on piano)
9. Driving Me Too Hard
10. Tell Me Straight
11. Sweet Sounds of Heaven (ft. Lady Gaga on vocals, Stevie Wonder on keys/piano)
12. Rolling Stone Blues
So far, the album has been previewed with “Angry,” its opening track, and a song bursting with the Stones’ signature swagger:
Hackney Diamonds finds the Stones working with producer/musician Andrew Watt, who’s amassed an incredible resume over the past few years with his work with icons Post Malone, Iggy Pop, Ozzy Osbourne and Elton John, among others.
The Stones officially debuted the track and introduced the Hackney Diamonds era with Jimmy Fallon on a special global live stream event earlier this month on YouTube:
Once released, Hackney Diamonds will be the band’s 24th British studio album and 26th American studio album.
